Within the framework of the Summer Festival programs of Hue Festival in 2023, with the theme "The Shinning City"; The Organizing Committee of Hue Festival 2023 organizes "Exhibition of Bonsai and Orchid in three Vietnamese regions" in Hue Royal Palace - Dai Noi (from April 27 to May 02, 2023). The exhibition attracted the participation of more than 300 bonsai works, more than 400 orchid works, and more than 100 rock artworks from Orchid Associations, Ornamental Tree Clubs, and Stone Ornamental Clubs with more than 300 artisans from many localities in all 3 regions of the country converging on Hue.

The activity aims to respond to enrich Hue Festival 2023; programs; Promote the conservation and creation of cultural and ecological spaces, honor Hue culture; Connect and shape aquatic activities with heritage conservation, community ecotourism, and environmental protection; Honor outstanding ornamental biological works, honoring highly skilled ornamental artisans, thereby creating attractions and enjoyment for the people on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South to unite the country (30/4/1975 - 30/4/2023).

The exhibition is an opportunity for bonsai and orchids artisans in three regions to gather together with works of art to have opportunity to be in the garden space of Hue Imperial Palace - a place where flowers and herbs used to be gathered from all over the world. Through that, the artisans have the opportunity to exchange experiences and introduce to the domestic and foreign public the most quintessential bonsai and orchid works, characteristic of each region.

Within the framework of the exhibition, there are outstanding programs: Exhibition opening ceremony (7h30 on 27/4/2023, at the Imperial City Hall); Skill show, ornamental tree creation (8h00 on 27/4/2023, at Co Ha Garden); Experience sharing forum (14h30 on 27/4/2023, at the Duyet Thi Duong Theater); Bonsai and orchid offering program (8h30 on 28/4/2023 at Ngo Mon Square – The Mieu); Auction program (17h on April 28/4/2023 at the Duyet Thi Duong Theater); Closing and award ceremony 15h00 on 01/5/2023 at the Duyet Thi Duong Theater).
